FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA - July 9, 2001- Holly D. Krulik was recently elected president of the Broward County Women Lawyers' Association, a group of 200 members. Martha C. Warner, Chief Judge of the 4th District Court of Appeal presided over the installation and gave a keynote address about the importance of personal leadership style.

Senator Walter G. "Skip" Campbell praised Krulik for her commitment to the community, "I applaud Holly and women like her who take the time and make the commitment to excel in their multiple roles as lawyer, community leader, wife, and mother. Our community is a better place because of the countless hours women like Holly devote to it."

Women lawyers throughout Florida will also have Krulik championing their agendas. Just this past week she was also elected as secretary of the Women's Caucus of the statewide organization, The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, which works towards ensuring the safety of Florida's families.

In addition to being actively involved in the legal profession, Holly contributes countless hours to make her community a better place. She is vice-president of special projects for the B'nai B'rith Justice Unit, No. 5207 and a former co-president of the Sisterhood of Congregation Kol Tikvah.

Krulik says, "volunteering requires a sacrifice of a valuable commodity - time - in exchange for an even more precious commodity - a stronger community."

This past spring Holly volunteered as a mentor to a law student in the Personal Injury Clinic at Nova Southeastern School of Law. This arrangement enabled the student to be paired with Holly and observe the day-to-day functions of a trial attorney.

Both Krulik and Senator Campbell are well known on the lecture circuit on the issues of disability insurance disputes, automobile insurance issues, and protecting the rights of nursing home patients. Her strong work ethic and her compassion for clients have earned Krulik much respect and recognition in her field.
